A new year brings excitement and possibilities. New Years resolutions are a great way to begin goal setting. The sense of accomplishment that comes from setting and attaining a goal provides feedback to our minds and bodies that assist us with sustaining a state of perpetual growth. On the flip side of that coin, inaction, or acting in a way that in inconsistent with our core values can trigger a downward spiral of declining mental and physical health. Simply put, accomplishing one goal will give you more confidence, and determination when approaching the next goal.

When working towards a goal be sure to stay grounded in the present. Breath, and be thankful for this moment. Don’t let past faliures or worries of the future stop you from accomplishing your goals today.
